A soulmate for me

What is a soulmate? As wikipedia says, a soulmate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity. This may involve similarity, love, romance, intimacy, sexuality, sexual activity, spirit vanity, compatibility and trust.

Firstly, the main characteristic it's that you feel comfortable with the other person; it's one of the most important things, because people always want to be comfortable. Another quality is that the other person makes you happy, because all the people want to be happy, and that helps you to be happy. Another one is that your soulmate has to be loyal, and you have to trust in him or her. These are the main qualities that a soulmate has to have, but if the other person has the same tastes than you, for example, the same tv series or the same favorite football team, that will increase your affinity with the other person.

Secondly, it's important that people don't be obsessed with a soulmate, because most of the people want to have a soulmate, and sometimes wants to change the other person because they have different things in common. So don't worry because life is very long and there are a lot of people waiting for you.

As a conclusion, a soulmate is a person who is exaclly like you, but in a different body, and remembers, time will find a soulamate for everyody.

Do you want to be a billionaire?

It’s usually to hear during your life what will you do with a lot of money, buy a house, stop working, operate yourself, play playstation for the rest of your life?

It’s a question that appears to the mind of everybody one time in life. But if you think carefully, what will you do with 20 million of euros?  I don’t know. I suppose that I will give money to my parents to retire, because they have worked very hard during a lot of time. After that, I will go to the university and study philosophy without worry of fail the exams, only for learnt. After that, I suppose that I spend a lot of money traveling around the world, staying at the best places of the world, and enjoying them, because I shouldn’t have to go home and work in a boring office for example. Then, I’d like to go out with my friends, watching football matches, meeting people and making true our dreams.

I have thought a lot with this topic since I watch the film “the wolf of wall street”, and my conclusion it’s a question than can change your life forever: do you really need to be billionaire to do all these things? You don’t have to retire your parents, because you can work for them and help them doing a lot of things, you don’t have to be billionaire to study what you want, you don’t have to buy a Ferrari if a Ford will take you to the same place, and do you really need to be millionaire to be happy and make your dreams come true? ;)

How important was beauty at that time?

Pride and prejudice has showed to us how people live in the 18th century. And moreover, how people were in that époque. Beauty was and it wasn’t important for me in that period of time.

On the one hand, I think that beauty was important because people want to live their life next to a beautiful/handsome person. Why? Because they want to show to the other people the “trophy” that they have won. Nowadays, it isn’t as different, because a lot of people want to be with a person who is attractive, and not for how the person is.

On the other hand, I think that there were more important things that beauty, like money. People want to be next a person who had a lot of money, as shows the book. And I can understand that if you are father or mother, you want that your sons and daughters be happy and have all the things that they need for live during they life, but it isn’t the most important thing. Nowadays, we live in a open-minded society, and we find some cases like Pride and Prejudice, but in most cases people are together because they love each other, and not for the money that have your partner have in the bank.

Stupid people in football?

Mario Balotelli

Mario Balotelli-style T-shirt messages will be punished

Players who display messages on T-shirts worn underneath their strips will face punishment after new proposals were agreed.

It’s true that when we have to spend a lot of time studying for an exam, we spend a lot of time doing nothing and finally we don’t do anything productive. FIFA it’s like when you study. I don’t remember the name, but I think that it was Jona, the name of a Spanish football player that where supporting Venezuela because the country was living a bad situation, he tooks of his shirt and show another shirt with a positive message. FIFA, said that he has to pay 1.200 euros, why? I don’t know. Kanoute supporting the problems of hunger, 3.000 euros, Andrés Iniesta like Callejón, remembering Dani Jarque, captain of R.C.Espanyol died a years ago, 3.000 euros or Leo Messi, congratulating his mother for her birthday, 2.000 euros.
I know that maybe for all the football stars this money it’s like two euros for us, but can you really punish someone to do that? In many cases, the punishes has been removed, but I can’t imagine how people can think like this. The magic of football are goals, and when you score a goal you want to celebrate because it’s one of the best things in life, believe me.
So please, FIFA, from this little blog, don’t make people ashamed of football and dedicate yourself to do more useful things like nothing silly for example, thank you!

Can Facebook change our lifes?

LIFE:CONNECTED

Can Facebook make you sad?

Studies suggest that browsing Facebook can make you unhappy, says Justin Mullins. Why might that be?
Not so long ago a new form of communication swept the world, transforming life in ways unimagined just a few years before. One commentator heralded it as “the greatest means of communication ever developed by the mind of man” while others pointed to its potential to revolutionise news, entertainment and education. But the poet and playwright TS Eliot had a different take. “It is a medium of entertainment which permits millions of people to listen to the same joke at the same time, and yet remain lonesome,” he wrote

This news talks about how facebook can change you and your frame of mind. We all have facebook and we use it a lot, but can facebook change our life?

Absolutely yes, without doubts. All the adolescence people are connected between them with the social networks. I will put an easy example: if you love someone, and this person click on the button “like” you will have an argument, even more if you are a girl, why girls are so jealous? I don’t know, but today I’m not going to talk about these. So this is a simply example. Another, it could be the quantity of likes that have a person, why people are so obsessed? People say me: can you put like to my photo please? And I think, and if I don’t put like you will die or something? I can’t understand why people want to be “popular”, but it’s like jealous, we can’t control it.
So in my opinion, social networks are useful because we can do a lot of things with them, but I think that in most cases produces more damage than benefits.

The world we live in

Will Russia invade Ukraine?

An unidentified gunman searches a vehicle while he and others block the road toward the military airport at the Black Sea port of Sevastopol Recent developments look much like the preliminary to the Russian assault on Georgia in 2008
Could Russia intervene militarily in Crimea to safeguard its strategic interests? Or, to put the question a different way, has Russia already intervened?
Nobody yet knows the identities of the armed men who seized control of Simferopol airport.
But their equipment, their vehicles and their behaviour all signal that this is a trained military unit, not a rag-tag group of pro-Russian loyalists.
"These men look like a formed and organised body of troops. They appear to be disciplined, confident and uniformly dressed and equipped," says Brigadier Ben Barry, a land warfare expert at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.

As I said in my other post, I don’t know much about topics related to the sport but I will try to speak about Ukraine situation.
I didn’t know anything about this until Valencia, the Spanish football team, had to go to Ukraine to play a match but they couldn’t because the country was living a civil war. This day, I hear the news on television and I see the police shooting to the people and the first thing I thought was: Are we crazy? Is it real?
And it was. All was real and I’m still surprised because I don’t remember experiencing anything like that. I don’t know how this war can finish and why they have arrived to this situation, but my ignorance makes me go to one way and as my father said: at the end, it will explode all, and we are the ones that will have to pay the consequences.

Nightmares?

Childhood nightmares may point to looming health issues

Regular nightmares in childhood may be an early warning sign of psychotic disorders, researchers in the UK warn.
The study, in the journal Sleep, said most children had nightmares, but persistent ones may be a sign of something more serious.
Having night terrors - screaming and thrashing limbs while asleep - also heightened the risk.

Nightmares? No thanks! I remember that when I was younger, I had nightmares, I don’t remember the frequency of these nightmares, but I hope that they were very occasionally.
It’s interesting news, because it says that children that have nightmares, when they grow up they can have some problems and they can have psychotic mental problems. It’s interesting the world of the dreams, because a lot of people believe in the meaning in the dreams, and they know if they dream something, it means that they will win money in the future for example. I don’t believe in that, I think that’s it’s a crap, like horoscope or Chinese crackers.
Maybe scientists can find that if you have a lot nightmares when you are young, it can produces traumas when you grow up, so I hope that when I was little I don’t have a lot of nightmares, for my security, do you have some nightmares when you was little?

First soccer, rugby players diagnosed with CTE

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • A new study identifies CTE in soccer and rugby players
  • CTE can develop from repeated blows to the head
  • The research raises questions about "heading" in soccer
(CNN) -- The disease that carves an insidious path through the brain seems to be doing the same through sports.
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, the degenerative brain disease associated with concussions, has been identified in both a soccer and a rugby player, according to a review in the journal Acta Neuropathologica.
The brain tissue of people found to have CTE displays an abnormal build-up of tau -- a protein that, when it spills out of cells, can choke off, or disable, neural pathways controlling things like memory, judgment and fear. CTE can be diagnosed only after death.
Strange and sad news, I can’t believe it. This news talks about that many rugby and football players have CTE, a Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, the degenerative brain disease associated with concussions. It’s sad hearing news like this because maybe it’s caused for the blows that live in every training and in every match. I’m not a fanatic of rugby, but I admire how they fight to win, they have to fight, run, jump, fall down and then get up off the ground.

I have seen a few matches, and when it’s raining, its amazing sees these athletes fighting and playing in mud. I suppose that these things are things of sport, like when a football player breaks a bone, or have an important injury. Like a football player, I think that all the athletes or people who play a sport seriously don’t think about what can happen in a match, they only think in practice the sport that they really like, training hard, and then plays the match. Are sad news, but I’m sure that all the things that sport gives to the people worth it, I mean, in that case it’s a tragedy, because you don’t know that you have CTE until you die, but in sport, like in life, if you want something, you have to pay a price for it, though sometimes, this price is very expensive.

The perfect job: money or happiness?

The other post made me think. Now I’m studying second of baxillerat and the next year I hope to go to the university. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life, because there are a lot of factors than can influence in my decision: friends, money, football, girls..
What’s my ideal job? I don’t know, maybe something related to the sport: talking about football on tv, on the radio, writing in the newspaper or commentator. I really like sport since I was very little and I would like to work in some of these jobs, but I don’t want to study journalism, so it’s quite difficult.
What is more important: money or happiness? Difficult question, because a lot of money can bring you some happiness, but work every day doing what you really want to do, bring you more happiness or maybe not? I don’t know.

Difficult questions in life, that maybe now are important, and maybe in the future not. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life, but I know that I want to keep my friends, my family, and keep playing football until my body can’t play anymore, and the future comes alone, because the things that have to happen, will happen alone. So don’t worry and enjoy the present!

Talking about The Derby: Could I work talking about football?

Every time that I turn on the television, I listen a lot of rubbish, because a lot of people wants to talk about a topic that they actually don’t know as much as me. For example, I can’t talk about politics, because I don’t know much about them, so, if you can’t talk about football, why do you say silly things? So in this post I want to comment which guns have each team and what is my prediction, so if I certain the final result it should influence in my mark.

Atletico the Madrid is one of the best teams in Europe at this moment. Simeone, it’s one of the best coaches in the world because he is very humble, strict and persistent. Talking about the defense, it’s one of the stronger in the league. Miranda and Godin the perfect couple, and Filipe and Juanfran are tireless. Midfield it’s in my opinion the worse part of the team, they have football players with a lot of talent, like Diego or Koke, but if we compare to the Real Madrid’s one, thery are a big difference. Finally, the offensive players are amazing: Diego Costa and David Villa. Diego Costa, also called “panther Costa” it’s one of the best striker of the world with 23 goals in 25 matches more o less. And David Villa everybody knows that it’s an elegance football player. Finally, Cortuois, one of the best goalkeepers of the world.

Real Madrid, it’s one of the best teams in the world now, in the past, and it will be one of the most important clubs in the future. Carlo Ancelotti, the coach, I don’t know much about him, but I don’t really like his way, sometimes he plays very well, and sometimes very bad, I don’t understand his philosophy. Talking about the defense, one of the best in the world too, with the best back in my opinion: Sergio Ramos, I really admire him, and his couple, the horrify Pepe. Then the left and right backs, Carvajal and Marcelo, very fast, very offensive, but bad when they have to fight for a ball in the air. Then, the midfield, with a man who is above the others: Luka Modric. Technique, dribbling, skills, simply amazing. With the Spanish Xabi Alonso, good pass and a good worker. And the main plate, the strikes: Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale/Jesé, and Karim Benzema. Cristiano, the best player in the world, Jesé, the Spanish golden boy, better than the expensive Bale in my opinion, and the elegance Karim Benzema, good player when he is series. And finally, Diego Lopez, the goalkeeper that has turned off the best goalkeeper in the world: Iker Casillas.

Finally, in my opinion, Atletico de Madrid will fight a lot because they will are playing at home, but Real Madrid will win the match by a genius of their strikers. I say 1-2 in favor of Madrid.

Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid: La Liga rivals set for 'do or die' derby

ATLETICO MADRID V REAL MADRID

  • Venue: Estadio Vicente Calderon,
  •
  • Date: Sunday, 2 March
  •
  • Kick-off: 16:00 GMT
Coverage: Live text commentary on the BBC Sport website
In the past decade, the Spanish La Liga title race has only ever contained two teams, with Barcelona and Real Madrid enjoying unchallenged supremacy.
Tomorrow Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid will play one of the most important matches of the league. They are fighting for the first position and it will be amazing.
I’m a football club Barcelona supporter, but since two years more or less, I prefer to watch good football than Barcelona’s football. For example, if Barça aren’t playing well, I prefer to watch another team that is playing well at the time. And if you are looking for two teams in good shape you can’t miss this match. It could be the match of the year so you don't want to miss it, do you?

My research project: The fire-fighting stations in Alt Empordà

The fire-fighting stations in Alt Empordà

This project consists of a study of some of the fire-fighting stations in Alt Empordà in order to describe the daily life of a fire-fighter.

This project is divided in two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The first one, talks about the fire-fighters’ history and all the fire-fighter stations in Alt Empordà, the fire-fighters’ job, how to advise them, their equipment etc. And the second part, it’s the most interesting one in my opinion, because in this part I interview some fire-fighters trying to achieve the main objective of my research project, understand and live a fire-fighters’ life.
